Embedded Software Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000

The Company:

As the client is looking for expansion and growth across their product range, they require an embedded software engineer to help facilitate these new opportunities, whilst maintaining existing products within the music industry.

Responsibilities:

• Basic level of embedded implementation, development, and optimisation
• Work with low-speed MCUs, which have minimal memory on the target platform.
• Digitally and sonically testing code on amps and other products.
• Aid in software scoping, project planning and problem-solving
• Help lead and motivate other members of the engineering team.

Requirements:

• Qualified in a relevant engineering subject 
• 3 years or more of industry experience as an Software Engineer.
• Proficient in C.
• Experience or good understanding of product development.
• Previous leadership experience in software engineering.
• Able to work with other stakeholders within the organisation
• Some experience in bench test equipment, power supplies, multi-meters, digital scopes, logic analysers, microcontrollers.
• Basic understanding of electronic schematics

• At least 2 years of experience in control systems like GitHub, GIT, CVS.
• Guitar player with good awareness of other instruments in the industry
