IntaPeople are once again proud to be exclusively partnered with our client based in South Wales, who are revolutionising the way in which we manufacture novel materials.
They are currently looking to onboard an electronics engineering technician, and be a part of the team. This role is an initial 3 month contract, but does have the likelihood to be extended beyond this period of time and potentially made permanent, should the candidate be successful in the role.
What will you be doing in the role?
- Assemble PCBs from a prepared Bill of Materials (BoM)
- Support, set up and run of tests of PCB (SMT production line)
- Help with the manufacture of harnessing
- Maintain and track stock levels of components and consumables (SMT production line)
Technical skills
Essential:
- Hand solder through-hole & surface mount components, (IPC Class-2 level)
- Experience of running and maintaining test and measurement equipment
- Basic and transferable CAD experience
- Familiarity with engineering BOM's
Desirable
- Hand solder through-hole & surface mount components, (IPC Class-3 level)
- Familiarity with Altium software
- Reflow solder experience
- Knowledge of C++ and Python
