Job description

IntaPeople are pleased to once again be partnered with a forward-thinking company, who are at the forefront of developing quantum technologies and are naturally expanding their engineering team with the search for a talented and experienced Electronics Engineer. The company are committed to fostering a collaborative and dynamic working environment encouraging growth and development.

The ideal person would have a strong understanding of the full product lifecycle of PCB (design, test, V&V), have the ability to interface microcontrollers and work with analogue electronics.


Job responsibilities

  • Design, test and develop PCBs with an emphasis on signal integrity and the best routing methods.
  • Create and implement mixed signal electronics systems that efficiently connect digital and analogue components.
  • To guarantee system performance and stability, carry out analytical computations, modelling, and simulation.
  • Create auxiliary documentation and manufacturing files.
  • Create PCBAs and prototypes, making necessary modifications and corrections.
  • Create and implement testing procedures to confirm that design performance complies with requirements.
     

About you

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, or a similar discipline, with significant work experience.
  • Firm grasp of the fundamentals of analogue circuits, with an emphasis on mixed-signal design.
  • Have a key understanding of the whole PCB design lifecycle, from creating manufacturing data to obtaining functional specifications.
  • Practical experience using simulation software (like SPICE) and PCB design tools (like Altium).
  • Proven background for debugging and fixing intricate electronic problems.
  • Knowledge of how to use lab tools including oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and network analysers for testing and validation.


Desirable skills (but not essential)

  • Working knowledge of digital signal processing (DSP) methods.
  • An understanding of mixed-signal system RF design and integration.
  • Prior experience developing FPGAs or programming microcontrollers.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols such as Ethernet, SPI, I2C, and UART
