IntaPeople are currently recruiting for a coating technician to join a leading Science and Engineering services company based in Warrington. The successful candidate would need to be thinking of making a mid-career move and be in need of experience in an engineering field.
A successful candidate will be expected to show acquired specialist knowledge in the mechanism design, tribology field and be able to execute relative tests and demonstrate necessary skills for effective execution in a structure manner.
Requirements of this role include, but role is not limited to:
- Must show to be technically strong with an inquisitive mind, be able to a problem-solve, be creative & motivated and to learn and contribute effectively
- Have knowledge regarding the practical design and analysis of mechanisms relevant to space/aerospace applications
- To perform essential project management roles, leading smaller projects
- Conduct hands-on tasks in a laboratory/cleanroom environment
Qualifications and Experiences:
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline (essential)
- Some tribological knowledge, background, or experience (desired)
- Experience with FEM analysis of structures (desired)
- A good working knowledge, experience or background in ball bearings, gears or other tribological components (desired)
- Experience of assembly/commissioning test facilities (desired)
