A forward-thinking technology company working with major global brands are entering a period of growth within their new office location in Llandysul… They are currently seeking an experienced Data Engineer(with a focus on Power BI) to play a pivotal role in managing and optimising their data infrastructure.
You’ll leverage your technical expertise and join a supportive, open and collaborative environment with a culture of learning, who are not afraid of making mistakes and thinking outside of the box.
Your role will involve working alongside Data Scientists and Analysts to drive data-driven insights for their clients to make strategic decisions. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders, design/maintain data pipelines and ETL Processes, ensuring the accuracy and security of the data and identifying opportunities for automation.
Experience required
- At least 2 years Data Engineering with proven experience in Power BI Development
- Knowledge in data analysis, modelling, and visualization
- Proficient in: Microsoft Power BI (Power Query, DAX, Power View)
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Skilled in at least one programming language – e.g., Python or Java
- Cloud platforms knowledge - AWS / Azure, and familiarity with data warehousing
Applicants must be within commutable distance of Llandysul for 3 days a week working in office (working 2 days a week at home) and must have the right to work in UK as we do not offer sponsorship.
