Are you a Data Architect or a Senior Data Engineer looking to take the step into architecture? Interested in greenfield projects and pushing the boundaries of how AI can be used to revolutionize the market? We’re helping an AI driven Market Research company build a tech hub in West Wales.

As a pivotal role within the company, we need this person to be in the Llandysul office 2 days per week. The ideal Data Architect will be based (or moving to) Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire or Pembrokeshire.

About the Company:

  • As a start up moving into a scale up, there are 24 in the tech team at present, which we’re looking to grow to 40 this year.
  • With a brand-new office built with renewable energy in Ceredigion, they have a ‘tech in Wales first’ policy to bring more tech jobs to West Wales.
  • With a huge client base on a global level, the AI driven marketing campaigns have been successful with household names.

About the role:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into comprehensive data architecture solutions.
  • Designing and implementing data models and database schemas to optimise data storage and retrieval.
  • Developing and maintaining data architecture standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Identifying and resolving data integration issues to ensure seamless connectivity across various systems.
  • Implementing data governance practices to enforce data quality and security standards.
  • Conducting data profiling, data cleansing, and data transformation activities to improve data accuracy and usability.
  • Collaborating with data analysts and business intelligence teams to develop data visualisation and reporting solutions.
  • Evaluating emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative data management approaches.

About you:

  • We’re looking for open engineers who want to learn new things, someone who keeps up to date with new and evolving tech with a desire to implement new solutions to ensure the platform is efficient.
  • A start up background is ideal as it is a fast, changing environment.
  • Culture is very important, so a personality fit is as important as technical capability.
  • Any knowledge or background in market research is a massive bonus.  This is not essential though; we understand this is a niche market – just a nice to have.
