I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in Bury St Edmunds, they design and manufacture special purpose machinery for a number of industries such as food and beverage and automotive. They are looking for a control systems engineer to join their ever growing engineering teams.
The current position is for an experienced Software and Controls Engineer, that's responsible for the design of the control systems for this machinery. This will be completed by working with the customers as well as the engineering teams.
Skills required:
- PLC programming from scratch
- Proficient with any PLC system - Siemens/Allen Bradley preferable
- Writing FDS
- Writing HMI code
- Commissioning
- Travelling to site required
- Experience with special purpose machines or bespoke machinery
Salary: £40-55k DOE
