A world class manufacturing company who are at the forefront of technology currently, are on the hunt for a CAD Technician to join their well-established team on a 6 month contract! They have recently received significant investment and are in the process of introducing £10’s of millions of pounds of new equipment and machinery. They have the potential to create hundreds of jobs in the local area as well as reshaping the global electronics industry!
They enable other companies/their customers to succeed within their particular fields, creating a service for companies worldwide. This is a key position within the Projects and Site Services team, where will be responsible for CAD Drawings for the installation of machinery, as well as drawings for site changes and tool installations the manufacturing area.
Experience/skills:
- Experience in a similar CAD Technician role, ideally with the introduction/installation of machinery into manufacturing (although this is not essential)
- AutoCAD proficiency
- Good communication skills (there will be interaction with other teams and external contractors)
- Good organisational skills
- Formal AutoCAD qualifications would be highly desirable but not essential
