Driving operational excellence through innovative digital solutions – a Bridgend-based manufacturing company are seeking an Operational Developer to be part of a dynamic team.
You’ll support operations by providing digital applications and outputs, such as dashboards, applications, and reports, plus collaborate with the wider business improvement team on cross-functional improvement projects. Your role will involve maintaining and troubleshooting current operational support systems, developing and enhancing operational digital systems, tools, and platforms, plus creating analytical reports and dashboards for the operational management team using ERP data sets, and helping execute collaborative improvement projects.
Experience we are most interested in:
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
- Strong experience in a Software/Systems Development role.
- Desirable: Six Sigma or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and Access.
- Capability in using Power BI software, and understanding of SQL Server, including VBA.
- Familiarity with ERP systems
