Business Analyst (change) – Swansea
We’re helping to grow the team for a Financial Services company based near Swansea and looking for a Business Analyst to help support business change across a number of different teams.
About you…
You’ll be engaging with people from right the way across the business including technical and non-technical teams so good communication skills are a must, especially when it comes to translating business outcomes into functional and non-functional requirements. Ideally, you will have experience in a similar sort of role, as well as with the requirements gathering process.
It would be great if you have some experience with –
* Working on large scale project/programmes implementing software and process solutions.
* Documenting technical requirements which can be passed to developers
* Software delivery methodologies, ideally Agile.
* Facilitating workshops.
What you’ll be doing…
You’ll be working with teams and issues from right across the business on a range of large and small projects, delivering strategic and incremental changes. Responsibilities will be really varied for this role, however, will include -
* Understanding business outcomes and shaping them so that functional & technical requirements can be defined.
* Challenging the business to properly and appropriately define the changes necessary to deliver business outcomes.
* Collect and write formal specifications for the internal technology team.
* Build and maintain a relationship with stakeholders and business users.
* Planning and estimating own work.
* Identify business priorities and advise business stakeholders on options by collaborating with solution architects and the development team.
You’ll be working as part of a matrix organisation and not only capture requirements, but shaping them so that the business outcomes are delivered whilst providing the technical input to design solutions that align with best practice and utilise the application in the best possible terms.
