With new large partnerships secured – our client, a leading IT solutions provider, are now requiring additional support within their Infrastructure team.
They are seeking someone with a creative approach to problem solving, a love for new technologies, a strong sense of responsibility and can deliver results within deadlines. You will join a team delivering infrastructure and security engineering support and embrace a heavily client facing role. You’ll be involved with monthly strategy and technical meetings, be responsible for patch management of all devices and delivering regular patching reports. You’ll create application and OS patch schedules (including reboot schedules), be involved in re-production patching and upgrade testing, and also have responsibility of hardware and software asset and lifecycle management.
This position will also involve ongoing application control and compliance (allow and block listing), and Azure configuration, support, and tuning (including servers, firewalls, and networking).
Requirements
- Azure Cloud, and Azure Security stack (XDR such as Defender)
- Experience with rule-tuning KQL and logic apps
- Security+ and SC200 certified
- Exposure and experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM policy development
- Flexibility and willingness to work on call, on a rota basis
Applicants must be within distance of Cardiff as this role will 2 days a week in office and must have right to work in UK as we do not offer sponsorship.
