We're seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join a highly established, forward-thinking London based company - working primarily within the Microsoft Data Suite to develop and implement end-to-end data solutions.
You will be involved in delivering first-class experiences for high-level stakeholders whilst providing data-driven solutions and support to your peers. We’re looking for a highly technical Data Engineer who has the ability to articulate themselves well to non-technical stakeholders and business members.
We’re looking for Data Engineers who have proven experience working within the Microsoft Data suite using:
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure SQL Server
- Azure Logic Apps
- Azure Functions
- Azure DevOps
You’ll have a solid understanding of ETL (extract, transform, load) processes including data modeling, warehouse, and data integration techniques. Having strong experience connecting system-to-system API’s with a solid understanding of CI/CD processes.
Other Skills Needed:
- Database experience such as SQL and NoSQL
- Azure DevOps & Release Management
- Scripting experience with PowerShell
- Automation within Data (Power Automate, Power Apps etc)
- Power BI and O365 Workplace fundamentals
Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- You will play a major part in maintaining and enhancing the existing architecture, data pipelines, data processing and integrations
- You will design & build upon the data platform with structured data governance methodology to ensure data lineage and province can be tracked
- Being responsible for building and maintaining the API Management layer for data federation to external systems
- Implement and monitor processes to meet data archiving and retention requirements
- Conduct security assessments to identify and address vulnerabilities within the data architecture
- Apply problem-solving skills and experience to troubleshoot and find root cause analysis for support requests
- Take the lead for the dedicated Azure Subscriptions supporting the Data Platform

- Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 (DOE)
