IntaPeople are delighted to be partnered with LDMS to scale up the technical team during their growth stage.  Based in the heart of Cardiff, LDMS are a prosperous fintech creating credit management software for a range of multinational clients. 

We are looking to grow the Core team with an Application Support Engineer; you will have an understanding of SQL queries and be proficient in putting structures in place and completing queries. This role has the potential to progress into a database development role.

About you…

  • You will have experience in understanding costumer needs/issues, responding to service tickets, or have a proven capability to provide a 2nd line support.
  • We are looking for a strong communicator with the ability to work within a fast-paced team as well as being professional, determined and self-driven

About the role…

  • The company are newly hiring for an additional resource to work on a specific project; a typical day for you will involve investigation and resolution of issues.
  • You will work closely with Oracle engineers and could yourself progress into an oracle engineer role as the company provide a lot of room for growth; as well as stability.
  • This role involves delving into data and code and carrying out data fixes; you will deal with issues from the service desk and acquire information for the service desk team

The technology / experience needed…

  • The key technology we are looking for is SQL; we are interested in hearing from app support engineers who have worked with any SQL flavour
  • Scripting experience is a bonus, especially Powershell; but this is not essential
  • If you’re a 2nd/3rd line support engineer with SQL knowledge looking to step into this role, we would like to hear from you
  • The ticket system they are currently using is Jira, but we are open to experience from any ticketing systems
