IntaPeople are working with a South Wales-based manufacturing company who are looking to bring in a 1st Line Support Technician to join their steadily growing team. Candidates will have to provide friendly, customer focused desktop support to both internal and remote client base.
Main duties:
- Daily Infrastructure monitoring and, following ITIL methodology, provide 1st/2nd line support through assigned work and escalation from service desk.
- Troubleshoot and objectively escalate deeper and more complex issues.
- Set-up and configuration of new desktops, laptops, VoIP phones, mobiles and tablets.
- Diagnose and resolve minor network issues alongside user account setup and maintenance.
- O365/SharePoint/Teams/Exchange Online, monitoring and management.
- Diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software related issues whilst liaising with external support companies, where necessary.
- Hardware/Software updates, equipment relocation and mobile device and asset management.
- Printer support and consumable replenishment, anti-virus and windows update monitoring and management alongside file/folder recovery.
- Meeting room and conferencing support, SOP documentation and user training.
- Hardware stock replenishment.
