A dynamic startup founded by experienced researchers in neutral-atom quantum technologies, leveraging groundbreaking techniques to scale quantum systems to thousands of qubits. The team combines expertise from developing quantum gas microscopes, optical lattice clocks, and high-speed Rydberg gates. Located in a thriving quantum ecosystem, the aim is to redefine the future of computing by building scalable quantum computers using ultracold alkaline-earth-metal atoms.
Your Role:
• Take ownership of a key module (e.g., imaging systems, tweezer generation, or laser distribution)
• Integrate and optimize your module into a cohesive quantum system
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams
• Stay at the forefront of AMO physics to refine system performance
Your Profile:
• PhD/Postdoc in AMO Physics with hands-on experience in lasers, optics, or ultracold atoms
• Familiarity with topics such as optical tweezers, Rydberg atoms, UHV systems, or high-precision imaging
Nice to haves:
• Programming experience – Python
• Electronics or Mechanical Design
• Industry experience
Salary range: €70,000 - €90,000
